Qualifications (NVQs)
Remote Assessment
Here at FENSA Training Academy we offer qualifications ranging from Level 1 all the way up to Level 7 in a variety of professions. For most qualifications we offer both the option of obtaining a temporary and/or full CSCS card directly through us (more information on this below).
Our remote assessment process is done by evidence submission over email. You will be asked to respond to the task emails by answering questions, taking pictures, submitting documents or similar as required as well as phone assessments with your assessor to discuss the tasks as and when needed. It is designed to be completed in your own time and you would not need to come to any classroom sessions and there would not be any exams. We expect learners to complete their qualification with 3-6 months, however this is flexible to the learners needs.

Need a CSCS card now or soon?
In partnership with GQA Qualifications we can issue you a CSCS card directly instead of going though the process with CITB. They are the only organisation issuing CSCS cards for the Glass and Glazing industries and can also issue CSCS Q-cards for all other CSCS qualifications as well.
All our cards are £35 + VAT (and include a health and safety test if taken with a qualification)
Temporary Card: By registering on a qualification and having passed a Health Safety and Environment test within the last 2 years, candidates can apply for this. Lasting for 1 year, a temporary card allows candidates to still have access to CSCS regulated construction sites whilst carrying out their qualification.
Full Card: Upon completing their qualification candidates will receive a full CSCS card. This lasts for 5 years, however with the qualification lasting for a lifetime, candidates will only then have to pass a Health Safety and Environment test every 5 years to ensure they are competent with the latest Health and Safety law as well as all site safety to renew.
